TEICON Engineering is currently looking for 2 Civil Site Supervisors (m/w/d) for major "Power Plant Construction Projects" at two of the following sites (to be defined):

Freelance Civil Site Supervisor (m/w/d) | Trieste


RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide support and feedback regarding the civil design, engineering, and construction planning in strong cooperation with the EPC contractor and its client.
- Manage and supervise all kinds of civil works during the construction of gas power plant.
- Prepare and submit weekly site activity reports to construction site manager.
- Manage and supervise the civil supervision activities and personnel.
- Ensure the plant construction work is performed in accordance with erection schedules and project documents, quality & safety procedures, and the terms and conditions of the contract.
- Close cooperation with all related disciplines such as QA/QC, contract management, scheduling.
- Managing of preparation of all relevant documentation with regards to construction activities with regards to site procedures and QA/QC requirements.
- Monitors equipment and manpower employed by the subcontractor, ensuring equipment and manpower are adequate and the subcontractor work performed conforms to design documents.

REQUIREMENTS

- This vacancy shall be staffed with a high-level skilled expert, having worked on international plant construction projects incl. site services
- High motivation combined with proven hands-on experience, leadership and communication skills, sense of responsibility and organizing ability is indispensable
- Beside mandatory fluent English language skills, any Italian skills are advantageous
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent combination of training and experience
- 5+ years of relevant technical experience
- Experience with power plant construction preferred
- Safe handling of MS Office is presupposed

TERMS

- Project start is envisaged for approx. March 2021 and will be a short term with approx. 1+ year execution period with the option of extension until March 2022
- Salary based on negotiation.
