What’s this position about?
In the role of Inland Logistics Delivery Execution Specialist not one day will be the same.
You’ll be part of an international team. Once a contract is in place, you and your the team at our Porto Corsini (PCO, Greater Ravenna District) crushing plant take over to plan, monitor, control and coordinate the inland bulk deliveries for grains, oilseeds, oils and biodiesel from/to our PCO crushing plant, Novaol Biodiesel and Glycerin plant and 3rd parties warehouses & terminals in Italy. After the delivery is completed the Barcelona team takes over and arranges the contracts. Most of the freight takes place within Italy, but you will also be responsible for transport from neighborly countries, making use of your sound English language skills.
In this role your winning mentality will be triggered as you’ll actively negotiate truck freight with our approved logistics operators, ensuring demand (receipt and delivery) is met, with focus on optimization and cost reduction. You’re in control of stock, building the right operational controls and you’ll development and update cargo delivery reports, metrics and KPIs and indicating deviations and corrective action plan.
This is a high touch role as you’re the interface between our external customer and their needs, suppliers and internal teams such as trading and quality.
Safety is our nr 1 priority and in this role you are a key promotor of this culture. You’ll make sure all activities are in compliance with Bunge’s safety standards, respecting contractual delivery period and enhancing customers’ service standards.

- A degree in Business Management, Logistics or related field
- 3+ years of previous experience with inland logistics for grains and oilseeds flow.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, Analytical tools); Excellent Excel skills are important to have
- GTM/SAP experience is desirable
- Already residing in the Greater Ravenna district or able to move there in the near future

Salary will be based on experience. The guideline is 28-35K.
