Your focus will be on Competitive displacement opportunities, OEM business,
Project pursuits in large EPCs and large accounts.If you consider yourself an outstanding sales talent, with a strong understanding of Power Industry and main stakeholders, and this sounds like an interesting opportunity to you, then join us as office based in one of our locations in Italy!IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:Identify market requirements and specifics, develop and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability in the agreed sales territoryDevelop and implement Project Pursuit strategies to ensure maximum exposure to project opportunities and successful order closure for targeted projectsDrive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization (local and international)Participate in the annual budget setting process and be able to comment on relative prospects bookings and GP, as necessaryMaintain and continuously develop high level of products and technologies knowledge required to perform the jobReport regularly to the direct supervisor on market trends, competition strategies and customer behaviors which may affect Emerson business strategies and on quotation & project potentialEnsure that all transactions are properly screened and recorded in accordance with the company’s Trade Compliance procedures and escalate any concerns or questions to the local Gatekeeper FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:Control & Instrumantation background is a mustTechnical education or bachelor’s engineering degreeAt least 5 years of proven successful experience in sales roles with strong understanding of Power industry and knowledge of key stakeholdersExcellent communication and social skills, experience interacting comfortably at various organizational levelsStrong eye for business and drive for resultsAbility to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business unitsProficiency in Italian and English (verbal, reading and writing) is mandatoryWillingness to travel up to 50% of the time within Italy and internationallyWHO YOU ARE:You are a team player, customer focused, ambitious salesperson, passionate about making an impact and always act with integrity.
