Role Objective
Our client is a supplier of software applications and hardware predominantly to the telecoms vertical. They have over 500 customers around the world in over 100 countries. They have a very large portfolio of products that cover network infrastructure, customer interaction technologies, OSS and BSS solutions.
This role is the technical expert, working with sales, meeting with customers to analysing their problems, proposing solutions to those problems from their suite of BSS products and convincing them their solution is the right one for them
This involves building credibility by demonstrating industry knowledge, expertise across a range of BSS products, competitive knowledge,

technical agility and bringing insights and lessons learned from other carriers around the world.
Reporting to the Director of Pre-sales EMEA & APAC. Primary geography is EMEA & APAC with occasional support for ROTW.
Key Responsibilities
Support sales prospecting for opportunities with new and existing customers and partners
Qualify the customer’s functional and technical requirements
Provide product and solution demonstrations with pertinent use-cases
Create collateral to aid in the sales process
Work closely with the customers and become a trusted advisor
Be the technical expert with an understanding of business value
Create feasible solutions that solve customer problems with clear ROI
Influence tenders prior to them being issued
Respond to tenders and unsolicited bids with high-quality documents
Understand the business needs, technical issues and organizational constraints of customers and prospects.
Prepare demonstration platforms and/or "Proof of Concept" POC environments and perform technical and functional demonstrations at customer meetings to decision-makers and/or users.
Develop and improve sales collateral and processes to reduce time to sale and increase win ratio
Track the industry trends and changes and keep up to date with technology and competitors

Skills & Experience
Preferred technical criteria:
Expertise in B2C billing, including OCS
Expertise in CPQ and O2C processes and the platforms that execute them, including order management and service provisioning.
Expertise in CRM platforms, including ticketing, product catalog
Knowledge of interconnect billing, including least cost routing, customer processes and problems
Knowledge of roaming billing, including the standards, TAP/RAP, NRTRDE and new standards such as BCE, plus customer processes and problems
Knowledge on mediation
Knowledge of various B2B, B2B2x and SNPN/PNI-NPN use-cases as they are evolving for more complex services
Knowledge of multi-IMSI solutions, SIM applets and eSIM would be useful
