The Environmental Manager, reporting to the HSE Director, will be responsible of the management of Environmental topics related to the Group Operations, the implementation of the Pirelli Environmental Strategy, Policies and Procedures, with the aim to improve the Group environmental performances and support the central, regional and site management teams to ensure the compliance with the environmental regulations.
•Coordinate the central, regional and local teams in the implementation of the legal requirements, assessing potential impacts of new applicable regulations, anticipating the short, medium and long-term needs of the Group
•Contribute to the development and the update of the Group environmental procedures, and support their implementation, ensuring the alignment among the local units, including onsite activities
•Coordinate and support the central departments and the local units on the assessment of environmental aspects risks, potential liabilities, emergency preparedness and response, on the development of proper improvement plans and corrective actions, identifying and promoting the adoption of the best environmental practices
•Conduct environmental audits to ensure that the ISO 14001 management systems are properly implemented and maintained
•Design and delivery of training courses and communication campaigns in order to increase the Group environmental awareness
•Minimum 6/8 years of professional experience required in Environmental Management of Multinational Companies
•Master's Degree in technical and scientific studies concerning environment, energy and chemistry (such as, environmental engineering, chemistry engineering, environmental science, etc.)
•Italian & English fluent
•Comprehensive knowledge of environmental management, ISO 14001 standard
•Comprehensive knowledge of the environmental laws and policies of the European context, awareness
•Good knowledge of environmental chemistry and engineering
•Good knowledge of soil and groundwater chemistry and remediation technologies
•Very good knowledge of MS Office suite and database management
•Result and quality orientation
•Good capacity for teamwork
•Good capacity for analysis and synthesis
•Excellent communication skill with strong team work ability
•Good ability to Communicate in person, but especially in writing, as in report writing
•Good training skills
•Experience in environmental trainings
