As a SeniorWorkplace, Health and Safety (WHS) Specialist, your role is key todriving improvements on-site and at a regional level. You’ll helpyour colleagues maintain high standards, all while driving aculture of safety and inclusivity on your site. No matter what your role is, you’ll play apart in developing, implementing and upholding our high safety andwellbeing standards. You could work on a variety of projectsalongside colleagues from across the business, ranging fromequipment and process inspections to assessing processes,



buildingand equipment design. Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles ‘lastmile’ delivery duties in partnership with third-party distributionbusinesses. We utilise creative thinking and continuous improvementinitiatives to get millions of physical products into the hands ofour customers. Our goal is to make our customers’ deliveryexperience as smooth as possible and roll out global deliverysolutions for our newest concepts, like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now andAmazon Restaurants. There are two sides to what we do. Our ‘underthe roof’ associates process millions of products for dispatch toour delivery teams. Our team is people-focused and supportive,particularly as lots of our people work through the night. We focusmostly on operations, with 24/7 shifts in most of our locations.Meanwhile, our ‘on the road’ people work with Amazon Flex - anetwork of delivery contractors. Every year, we continually raisethe bar for customer experience with new, innovative deliveryservices. We look for new ways to overcome industry wide logisticschallenges and new ideas to reduce our carbon footprint, supportedby a portfolio of cutting-edge vehicles (including ElectricVehicles) and technology to help us do just that.



Key jobresponsibilities • Manage your programmes, whilst regularlycollaborating with other teams and stakeholders across the company• Use internal reporting tools to analyse data reports and rootcauses that provide leadership with the information they need tomake safety related decisions • Provide guidance and arrangementsfor health and safety projects and policies • Drive programmes toimprove technical equipment specifications and designs withinAmazon • Above-average willingness to travel within the coveredregion A day in the life This is an extremely varied role based atone of our sites, allowing you to directly contribute to manyaspects of our safety culture. You will manage health and safetystandards while improving functionality and efficiency. You’ll alsomanage your team and help them implement changes in response toemployee feedback or seize opportunities to continuously makeprocess improvements.
