Job description
The Sales Assistant plays a vital role in the retail team by engaging with customers, supporting daily store operations, and contributing to a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate is attentive, reliable, energetic, approachable, punctual, and knowledgeable about fashion trends, confident in styling clients.
Responsibilities include welcoming and assisting customers, describing products,
and ensuring a high-quality customer experience. The Sales Assistant also supports store management in maintaining a creative and professional store environment.
Selling skills
- Be a brand ambassador and embrace the Selling Ceremony
- Drive sales through warm welcomes, exceptional customer service, and effective sales techniques
- Meet store KPIs such as AB and UPT
- Provide personalized advice and build customer loyalty
- Communicate effectively and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of the collection and iconic pieces
Operations
- Operate till systems, process payments, and manage queues efficiently
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Handle customer needs, exchanges, credit notes, and holds
- Encourage customers to join mailing lists
- Maintain stock replenishment and manage stock transfers and faulty items with management support
- Process deliveries and maintain store standards
- Answer calls courteously and promptly
- Implement loss prevention procedures and conduct inventories
- Keep the shop floor and stock room clean and organized
- Follow health & safety guidelines
Merchandising
- Process deliveries, replenishments, and transfers
- Support VM guidelines implementation
Profile required
Applicants should have up to two years of sales experience in an upper-end brand and a passion for fashion and luxury. The ability to advise demanding clients is essential. The candidate should be hardworking, dynamic, energetic, and committed to excellent customer service. Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
