The Position
You will be responsible for Pet Business, focusing on commercial activities and results, providing high-quality service to customers, and promoting the company's products and value.
You will manage and develop a direct sales force in the assigned area, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Medical teams to implement shared strategies with customers such as wholesalers, pharmacies, and vets.
Responsibilities
Identify business opportunities and work with the Sales Manager, NAM, and Area Manager to define the commercial strategy.
Coach and mentor the sales team, ensuring the implementation of canvassing and commercial strategies to achieve sell-out targets.
Implement the shared commercial strategy to meet sales and promotional objectives in the Pet Vet and Pharmacy channels.
Maintain relationships with major customers and their representatives, focusing on assistance, growth, credit management, and problem resolution to foster long-term partnerships.
Implement a sales management process centered on sell-out, helping the team identify and prioritize key customers and prospects.
Set sales targets and KPIs, monitor team performance.
Understand competitor policies and strategies.
Travel within the area and conduct frequent customer visits (up to 80% of the time).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Scientific field.
At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Fluency in English is a plus.
Deep understanding of customer behavior and decision-making processes; strong negotiation skills; results-oriented.
Experience in meeting sales quotas and understanding market dynamics.
Effective people management, communication, coaching,
and leadership skills; empowering mindset.
Analytical skills and a data-driven market approach.
Team spirit, proactive, positive, and collaborative attitude.
