For our client, a growing CDMO specialized in development and production of sterile injectable products, we’re looking for a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - PROJECT MANAGER - TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER The candidate, reporting to the BD manager, will lead and manage key projects with a primary focus on execution. This includes managing stakeholder expectations on project scope, deliverables, and timing.
Product and business goals will be achieved by planning and directing project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within established project timelines and budgets, with the following key responsibilities: Project management: Manage CDMO projects (Technology Transfer and new Development) as SPOC with customers for all project aspects; Coordinate internal project activities, lead multidisciplinary teams, set up and lead project meetings, and issue Project Plans; Monitor adherence to timelines and costs; Provide regular updates to CCO and Management on project status; Support Finance in project cost controlling and updating financial WIPs; Coordinate external activities (e.g., laboratory activities) connected with project execution; Business Development: Manage new customers until product launch; Support CCO in technical evaluation of new projects; Prepare Technology Transfer and Commercial Proposals; Represent the company at international exhibitions and congresses; Support CCO in scouting for new customers and business opportunities; Manage in-licensing and out-licensing of new products; Assist CCO in budget proposals for new projects and products. New Products Launch: Coordinate activities to support the commercial launch of new products, ensuring material availability, proper documentation, and timely internal activities; Serve as SPOC with external customers for new product launches, setting up launch preparation plans; Regulatory: Coordinate regulatory activities, evaluations, and timelines for new projects, serving as SPOC with customers for regulatory documentation readiness. Qualifications: Degree in Pharmacy, CTF, Chemistry, or Biotechnology; Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and CMO manufacturing processes; At least 3 years of experience in a complex multinational CMO environment; Formal project management training preferred; Positive attitude, driven, persistent, and results-oriented; Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing); Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills; Ability to influence others and reach agreements; Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
