Job Description:For our client, a growing CDMO specialized in development and production of sterile injectable products, we are looking for a Business Development - Project Manager - Technology Transfer.
The candidate, reporting to the BD manager, will lead and manage key projects with a primary focus on execution.
This includes managing stakeholder expectations on project scope, deliverables, and timing.
Product and business goals will be achieved by planning and directing project plans, managing cross-functional teams, and coordinating activities within established timelines and budgets.
Key responsibilities include:
Project Management:Manage CDMO projects (Technology Transfer and new Development) as the SPOC with customers for all project aspects.Coordinate internal project activities, lead multidisciplinary teams, organize project meetings, and issue Project Plans.Monitor adherence to timelines and budgets.Provide regular updates to CCO and management on project status.Support Finance in project cost control and updating financial WIPs.Coordinate external activities (e.g., laboratory activities) related to project execution.Business Development:Manage new customers until product launch.Assist CCO in technical evaluation of new projects.Prepare Technology Transfer and Commercial proposals.Represent the company at international exhibitions and congresses.Support CCO in scouting new customers and business opportunities.Handle in-licensing and out-licensing of new products.Assist in budget proposals for new projects and products.New Product Launch:Coordinate activities to support the commercial launch, ensuring material availability, proper documentation, and timely internal activities.Serve as the SPOC with external customers for launch preparation planning.Regulatory:Coordinate regulatory activities, evaluations, and timelines for new projects, acting as SPOC with customers for regulatory documentation.Qualifications:
Degrees in Pharmacy, CTF, Chemistry, or Biotechnology.Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and CMO manufacturing processes.At least 3 years of experience in a complex multinational CMO environment.Formal project management training preferred.Positive attitude, driven, persistent, results-oriented.Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Ability to influence others and reach agreements.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
