Job Description

Come Expert Agronomic Development Innovation will be part of the Agronomic Development Innovation team within the Direzione Global Natural Resources .

Main Activities

- Identify, develop, and manage geographic information: acquisition, collection, creation, editing, data analysis, and synthesis within GIS applications.
- Support digital transformation, from certification aspects to integrating cutting-edge technologies for collecting data on oilseed crops on degraded or crop-rotated lands,



as well as in conjunction with forest species.
- Contribute to knowledge dissemination by developing and promoting solutions and technologies aimed at digital optimization to simplify monitoring and traceability across all geographic units.
- Strengthen the AGRI business by collaborating closely with international teams to develop and implement solutions that simplify the agro-industrial process.
- Actively support project development and the implementation of innovative ideas within the AGRI team, promoting AI-driven projects.
- Manage the development of an AI-connected platform, maintaining constant dialogue with proprietary databases.

Required Characteristics
- Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, Geography, or Territorial Sciences. Candidates with different or lower qualifications may be considered if they have significant professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in analysis for agro-industrial projects, in corporate or research settings.




- Ability to work in teams and manage activities with external companies.
- Knowledge of English.
- Full willingness to travel frequently to non-European contexts and international mobility.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and territorial analysis systems (GIS), basic knowledge of data analysis tools for agriculture.

Additional Profile
- Basic knowledge of machine learning techniques and AI applied to territorial sciences and agriculture.
- Previous experience in crop management and crop yield prediction models is a plus.
- Experience in non-European contexts is a plus.
- Knowledge of French and Portuguese is a plus.
