We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Product Compliance to join our prestigious industrial company.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Director , this pivotal role will ensure the highest standards of product compliance across all Business Units, especially in relation to the supplier network.
Key Responsibilities Compliance Management: Ensure compliance and evaluate impact in industrial activities, including creating lab testing plans according to legal requirements and industry standards.
Risk Assessment: Conduct regular assessments to identify potential compliance risks, evaluate existing processes, and determine areas for improvement (raw material audits, industrial process audits).
Develop and implement a robust product compliance system that supports the company's business objectives.
Oversee compliance programs: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs across all BUs to meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
Audits and Risk Assessments: Conduct regular audits, identify non-compliance areas, and implement corrective actions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Act as a liaison between departments such as Supply Chain, Legal, Sourcing, Internal Audit, Manufacturing, Design & Product Development.
Collaborate with senior management and product teams to integrate compliance into the product lifecycle.
Provide guidance and support to BUs on compliance matters to ensure consistency.
Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and industry bodies.
Training and Development Develop and deliver compliance training programs for employees at all levels.
Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends.
Promote a culture of compliance through communication,
training, and awareness initiatives.
Reporting and Documentation Prepare and present compliance reports to executive management and the Board.
Maintain records of compliance activities, audits, investigations, and risk assessments.
Ensure timely reporting of compliance issues and resolutions.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in product compliance, with at least 5 years in leadership, preferably in the luxury or industrial sector.
Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
Proven success in developing and implementing compliance programs.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Fluent in English; French language skills are highly appreciated.
