Mission We are seeking a
Software Engineer
to join our backend engineering team and help design, build, and scale high-performance software solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our products, contributing to architectural decisions, and mentoring junior developers while remaining hands-on in coding and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure
Python applications
and
APIs . Contribute to the
architecture
and
technical design
of complex backend systems. Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and other engineers to translate business requirements into high-quality technical solutions. Implement and maintain
unit, integration, and performance tests
to ensure reliability. Optimize code and systems for
performance and scalability . Participate in
code reviews , ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Contribute to
continuous integration and delivery
pipelines. Support and mentor junior developers within the team.
Technical Requirements Strong experience with
Python 3.x
and one or more major frameworks ( Django ,
FastAPI ,
Flask ). Solid understanding of
software architecture
and
design patterns . Experience with
RESTful APIs
and
microservices architectures .
Proficiency in
relational and NoSQL databases
(e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis). Experience with
Docker
and
Kubernetes
for containerization and orchestration. Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
(GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.). Knowledge of
cloud environments
(AWS, GCP, or Azure). Strong understanding of
version control
(Git) and collaborative development workflows. Experience with
testing frameworks
(PyTest, Unittest) and debugging tools.
Soft Skills Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Commitment to code quality, maintainability, and performance. . Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership of features and issues.
Education & Experience Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). 4+ years
of professional experience in backend software development with Python. Proven track record of contributing to large-scale production systems.
Nice to Have Experience with
async programming
(asyncio, Celery). Knowledge of
event-driven systems
(Kafka, RabbitMQ). Exposure to
DevOps practices
and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
