ph3Purpose of the Position /h3pAs Subsea Mechanical and Structural Engineer, you will report to the Mechanical and Special Tool office manager and be part of the Sonsub office. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliDesign structural and machine elements including transmission gears and electromechanical components, selecting commercial components and materials; considering corrosion, machining, welding process, and fabrication tolerances. /liliDesign taking into account production cost savings, component standardization, and ease of integration, testing, and maintenance. /liliManage and control external engineering resources for assistance in 2D/3D design. /liliManage and control external subcontractors for fabrication and testing of the designed equipment. /liliManage 3D models produced internally and externally, filing documents in Autodesk Vault. /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ullibEducation: /b Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. /lilibExperience:
