In this role you will lead and coach a hybrid EMEA accounting team of seven, ensuring accurate close processes and compliant reporting across the UK, the Netherlands, and Italy. You’ll manage escalations, develop teammates, and partner with stakeholders to strengthen the accounting function amid change. You’ll drive process improvements, standardisation, and audit readiness while maintaining a hands‑on, collaborative leadership style. This position offers regional impact, exposure to ERP transitions, and a clear pathway to financial excellence.

- Own month-, quarter-, and year-end closes across all EMEA entities with a focus on quality of the accounts
- Deliver statutory, management, and ad-hoc financial reports on time and accurately
- Support finance process improvements and standardisation to increase leaner, smarter operations
- Manage, mentor, and develop the EMEA accounting team
- Handle escalations and act as a calm, authoritative point of contact for team and stakeholders
- International accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in statutory reporting and ensuring clean books
- Leadership experience managing remote teams
- Strong ERP exposure (JD Edwards; transition to Microsoft D365 xlwpduy planned)
- Statutory GAAP experience and overseeing audit processes
