ppASSET-EQUIPMENT /ppENERGIE /ppMANUTENZIONE /ph3bRequisiti /b /h3h3bJob Description /b /h3pBarilla G. R. Fratelli wants to recruit a Plant Engineer for Foggia Plant. The individual will report to the Technical Area Manager. /ph3bMain Responsibilities /b /h3pASSETS AND EQUIPMENT /pulliManage and implement all capital expenditure projects for which the plant is responsible, and collaborate in achieving the objectives for projects under the responsibility of Technical Development. /liliIn support of the Technical Area Manager, draw up the capital expenditure (Capex) forecast, assessing the feasibility of proposed projects in terms of approvals and cash outflow. /liliManage and update technical diagrams, layouts and drawings for new plant and upgrades to existing plant. /liliIndependently manage, with the support of the plant’s Technical Area specialists, maintenance, improvement and regulatory compliance projects for assets, whilst adhering to timeframes and budgets. /liliPropose and oversee innovation relating to the plant’s machinery and equipment fleet. /liliAgree, with the Production Manager, PPWM and Maintenance Manager, the schedule of planned work for the installation or commissioning of new plant, throughout all stages of production requirements planning, and communicate this to the Technical Area Planner. /liliDefine the types and quantities of spare parts required for new plant, in collaboration with specialists from the Technical Department, and liaise with the Spare Parts Warehouse Manager to ensure these are kept in stock. /liliPromote collaboration between the Plant and Central Engineering, supporting Central Engineering during the design phases of new plant at the Plant (definition of the layout, technical specifications, etc.). /li /ulpENERGY /pulliMonitor the plant’s energy carriers (electricity, heat and fluids)



in line with the company’s KPIs and budget. /liliManage the regulatory, operational and maintenance aspects of the Turbo Gas plant, with the support of the AreaTecnica Professional, liaising with specialist service providers and the relevant authorities. /liliKeep data up to date and support the plant’s HSEE team with energy certifications. /liliManage the maintenance of energy carrier meters (electricity, heat and fluids). /liliIndependently identify areas for improvement to reduce energy carrier consumption and propose technical solutions. Acts as the plant’s technical point of contact for sustainability and energy. /li /ulpSAFETY – ENVIRONMENT – QUALITY /pulliKeep data up to date and support the Plant’s HSEE and QT teams with environmental, safety and quality certifications. /li /ulpMAINTENANCE /pulliManage maintenance work on general plant, fire‑protection systems, service systems, infrastructure and equipment, with the support of professionals from the Technical Department. /liliParticipate in the process of identifying the root causes of major faults by introducing effective and efficient methods of analysis, and reassessing the impact on preventive maintenance activities. /liliMaintain and develop contacts with suppliers, evaluating their services and offers, in order to identify technological developments, plant revamping projects and new initiatives to be implemented at the plant.



/li /ulh3bRequirements /b /h3ulliDegree in Engineering /liliAt least 3 years’ technical experience /liliKnowledge of English will be considered an advantage /liliGood problem‑solving skills /liliAbility to plan and organise /liliTeamwork, proactivity and good interpersonal skills /liliWillingness to travel and relocate /li /ulh3bCompensation package /b /h3ulliThe gross annual base salary (RAL) offered will be no less than € 45.000, in accordance with the provisions of the applicable National Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL Industria Alimentare) /liliThe Company is committed to offering a competitive compensation package and, following the selection process, may propose a final gross annual base salary above the stated level, commensurate with the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications /liliThe position's compensation package also includes a variable component and a competitive welfare and benefits offer.
