Here, the Expansion Project Team, carried out by the company Logistica Giuliana, is planning and executing a game changer phased project aiming to integrate the current facility into a state‑of‑the‑art container and Ro‑Ro terminal, making use of the most advanced technologies and expertise. /p pTo support this transformation, we are looking for a Network and Systems Engineer to join the Expansion Project Team. /p pAs Network and Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of IT hardware infrastructure required for the future terminal. You will ensure that hardware systems are properly specified, delivered, installed and integrated in line with project timelines, operational requirements and safety standards. /p pYou will act as a key interface between IT, Operations, Engineering, external suppliers and project stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution across all expansion phases. /p h3What you can expect /h3 ul liManage and coordinate IT hardware projects within the terminal expansion programme /li liDefine and validate hardware and infrastructure requirements (networks, communication systems, servers, data centres, field devices) /li liCoordinate suppliers and contractors providing works or services, ensuring compliance with technical, safety and security requirements /li liOversee installation, testing and commissioning of IT hardware systems /li liEnsure seamless integration between hardware,



software and existing IT systems /li liSupport project planning, scheduling and risk management for hardware‑related activities /li liCoordinate acceptance tests, integration tests and go‑live phases /li liEnsure compliance with port safety, security and corporate IT standards /li liAct as part of the Expansion IT Project Management Team, contributing to overall project governance /li /ul h3What you bring to the table /h3 pWe are looking for a hands‑on project manager with strong technical understanding and the ability to coordinate complex hardware deployments in an industrial environment. /p ul liVery good English skills (Italian and/or German are a plus) /li li5+ years of experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on hardware and infrastructure /li liProven experience in networking, data communication and IT infrastructure /li liExperience in industrial, logistics, port or terminal environments (strongly preferred) /li liAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and suppliers in an international context /li liStrong organizational and communication skills /li liStructured, process‑ and risk‑oriented mindset /li liSolid understanding of IT project management methodologies /li liDegree in IT, Engineering or a related field /li liValid EU work permit and willingness to relocate to Trieste at short notice /li /ul pThe ideal candidate would have a valid EU working permit and would be willing to relocate to Trieste in short notice. /p pWe encourage applications from candidates belonging to protected categories under Law 68/99, including individuals with disabilities and other underrepresented groups. /p /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
