ppContinue growing with PPG! As the Engineering Leader, you will be responsible for project and process engineering support within the EMEA liquid operations organization. As leaders in engineering for liquid operations, the team guides change through process engineering leadership on the most manufacturing projects for liquid operations. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead New Product Introduction (NPI) readiness, ensuring processes, technologies, and assets are fully capable and scalable. /li liDrive regional productivity and efficiency improvements through structured continuous improvement initiatives. /li liDefine, standardize, and govern engineering best practices across EMEA liquid operations. /li liYou will be a troubleshooting resource for non‑standard performance in manufacturing. /li liWork with Business and Advanced Manufacturing teams to modernize operations. /li liStay informed of latest technology and process developments in the industry. /li liCollaborate with internal and external partners to develop new process designs and conduct developmental process trials. /li liCollaborate with site engineering and maintenance teams to implement improvements. /li /ul h3Your Background /h3 ul liBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. /li liMinimum 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, capital project execution, or process development. /li liRecognized regional or global Subject Matter Expert for assigned processes and/or equipment. /li liExperience in batch and continuous manufacturing environments. /li liStrong experience operating within regulated quality systems (cGMP, IATF 16949, or equivalent). /li liAdvanced knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, DMAIC, and Process Design Review methodologies. /li liProven leadership in RFQ development, URS definition, FAT,
and SAT execution. /li liSolid background in paint and resin chemistry and liquid manufacturing processes. /li liWorking knowledge of hazardous area classification (ATEX). /li liDemonstrated ability to lead through influence, manage senior stakeholders, and drive alignment across regions and functions. /li /ul h3How we work /h3 pAt PPG, we bring teams together to accelerate collaboration and career development, with in‑person work Monday through Thursday and the opportunity to work remotely on Flexible Fridays.
