With over 30,000 people in more than 50 countries, we drive the energy transition toward Net Zero while prioritizing safety, environmental sustainability, and inclusion. /p h3Purpose of the Position /h3 pAs 1st Offshore Construction Shift Supervisor within the Asset Based Services Business Line (ABSER) of the Offshore Operations Department, you will coordinate and supervise all construction activities on board. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liCoordinate work and manpower on board for the assigned shift, ensuring efficient performance and compliance with HSE and quality procedures. /li liAssist the Offshore Construction Manager with interdisciplinary coordination of all works on board. /li liSupervise foremen and supervisors across construction and assembly disciplines, ensuring quality and safety standards. /li liCoordinate construction activities during the shift and optimize all production phases. /li liKeep the Offshore Construction Manager fully informed of potential problems and construction status. /li liLiaise with the Chief Mate, 2nd Engineer, and Vessel Equipment Engineer to ensure preventive maintenance and construction activities. /li liLiaise with subcontractors’ supervisors to optimize production. /li liSolve coordination, priority, and interface issues between different disciplines to meet project scopes.
/li liEnsure the Permit‑to‑Work system for construction crew is adhered to and that daily Tool Box Talks and JSA are carried out according to procedures. /li liMotivate construction crew and subcontractors regarding health, safety, and environmental awareness. /li liEnsure compliance with Saipem QHSE policies and safety procedures. /li liReport incidents and near‑miss events. /li liManage crane operations, including coordination with the Chief Mate for main crane movements, ROV launching, and underwater operations. /li liAssist marine operations if required. /li liProvide a construction report at the end of each shift. /li liAssist the Vessel Field Engineer in the follow‑up of project equipment and consumables, and in the operation and monitoring of the stinger and JLT. /li liEnsure the rigging gear used is within its date range and properly marked. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pbEducation: /b Preferably a bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical, or naval engineering. /p pbExperience: /b 10–15 years of relevant experience. /p pbLanguages: /b Italian and English (B2/C1). /p h3Benefits /h3 ul liPermanent Contract – CCNL Energia e Petrolio. /li liFor overseas contracts: Basic Pay not lower than €40,000 plus overseas allowances. /li liLocation: Abroad.
