ppWe are seeking an experienced bMechanical Package Manager /b (based in Milan) to join our expanding Data Centre project team. The role involves overseeing the design, installation, commissioning, and hand‑over of critical mechanical systems, including HVAC and cooling infrastructure, to ensure they meet project specifications and industry standards for optimal data centre operations. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOverall responsibility for the mechanical package, covering contractor design, procurement, contract governance, pre‑construction, mobilisation and delivery through hand‑over. /li liLead a safety‑first culture with zero‑accident objectives, working closely with the Project Lead. /li liReview and comment on all design information in collaboration with the engineering team to ensure buildability, commissionability, and compliance with requirements. /li liIdentify design optimisation and pre‑fabrication opportunities, and support early development activities such as land, power, and permit acquisition. /li liSupport value engineering initiatives and implement them across all projects. /li liCollaborate on procurement strategy, evaluate tender returns, and manage contractor relationships and performance. /li liConduct robust weekly audits of method statements and risk assessments,



ensuring compliance with contract documentation. /li liPrepare and maintain schedules, manage critical path activities, and proactively address delays with the Project Lead. /li liEnsure on‑site work is performed safely; conduct weekly health safety tours and document findings. /li liAssist with quality audits, commissioning activities, and ensure hand‑over documents meet required standards. /li liDeliver defect‑free hand‑overs, including snag clearance. /li liContribute to risk management and mitigation planning, providing necessary package data and narratives for reporting. /li liProvide timely and accurate progress and status reporting, and collaborate on continuous improvement of DC project delivery. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum 5 years of experience delivering contractor or developer roles for data centre development projects. /li liProven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with exemplary safety, quality, and sustainability records. /li liStrong leadership and decision‑making skills, with excellent communication abilities. /li liDegree or equivalent in Construction Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field. /li liApplicable Safety for Managers training. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
