As an AI Specialist at Leonardo Cascina Costa, you will lead advanced computer vision and time series projects, architecting models that perform reliably on edge devices. You'll work with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into product ecosystems and participate in European projects. You'll stay at the forefront of ML/AI methodologies, driving scalable, robust solutions for real-world, demanding environments. This role combines hands‑on model development with mentoring and collaboration to advance aerospace AI capabilities.

- Design, develop, and implement state‑of‑the‑art computer vision and time series models
- Evaluate and test AI models in real‑world, challenging conditions
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate AI solutions
- Maintain scalability, robustness,



and efficiency of deployed models
- Stay current with latest AI/ML methodologies and apply them to operational challenges
- Participate in European‑funded projects
- Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing
- Master in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Mathematics, Physics, Robotics or related fields
- 4-10 years of professional xlwpduy AI experience
- Proven track record leading or mentoring junior team members (plus)
- Proficiency in computer vision, time series analysis and AI
- Git mandatory; experience with Docker/Singularity
- Experience with PyTorch, ONNX, TensorRT
- C, C++, Rust, Go familiarity (plus)
- Knowledge of aeronautical systems deployment (plus)
- English professional proficiency; Italian a plus
