ppAs an Electrical Design Engineer at Vertiv, you will advance electrical design for thermal management products used in data centers. You’ll collaborate in a multidisciplinary HVAC-focused team to deliver high-performance, cost-efficient solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will shape product documentation, support production transfers, and troubleshoot technical challenges. This role offers global collaboration and the opportunity to influence product safety and performance in a growing market. /ph3Responsibilities /h3ulliWork in a multidisciplinary team on thermal cooling units for data centers, prioritizing high-performance and cost-effective design /liliDesign new products or re-engineer existing ones with emphasis on electrical systems, coordinating with suppliers, Procurement and Industrial Engineering /liliSupport product production transfer and interface with the central expertise hub /liliCreate and review product documentation (ECAD drawings, specifications, bills of materials) /liliBalance cost, quality, environmental impact,



and timing to meet internal and market needs /liliAnalyze and resolve technical problems for assigned products /liliApply knowledge of CE/UL electrical regulations and standards /liliCommunicate effectively across regions to support global designs /li /ulh3Qualifications /h3ulliTechnical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering /liliMinimum 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Designer, preferably in HVAC /liliStrong understanding of electrical design principles and practices /liliProficiency with ECAD PLM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel) /liliKnowledge of harmonic filters for harmonics mitigation and Power Factor Correction /liliGood understanding of thermodynamics and refrigeration principles (desirable) /liliEnglish at intermediate level (written and spoken) /liliStrong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills /liliIndependent and highly motivated with initiative to take on new challenges /liliFamiliarity with CE EN60204/EN61439 and UL508A electrical standards /liliKnowledge of EMC considerations for compliance /liliAwareness of common BMS communication systems /liliWillingness to travel between Italy and Slovakia (10–20%) /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
