Are you an Electrical Commissioning Engineer looking to work on some of Europe's most technically advanced Data Centre projects? This is an opportunity to join a leading international engineering contractor delivering multiple large-scale mission critical developments across the Milan region.

Location

You’ll be based across major Data Centre developments throughout the Milan area , working on large-scale mission critical facilities for global clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in delivering the safe testing, commissioning and energisation of critical electrical infrastructure,



ensuring every system performs reliably before handover.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Commissioning LV and HV electrical systems across complex Data Centre projects
- Testing UPS systems, generators, transformers, switchgear and power distribution equipment
- Developing and executing commissioning plans, procedures and test scripts
- Carrying out functional testing, load bank testing and system validation
- Supporting energisation activities and critical system start-up
- Coordinating commissioning programmes with project managers, design teams and specialist contractors
- Investigating faults and resolving technical commissioning issues
- Producing commissioning documentation, reports and project handover packs
- Ensuring all activities comply with industry standards and client specifications
- Supporting FAT, SAT, IST and integrated systems testing where required
- Mentoring junior commissioning engineers and contributing to best practice across projects

Requirements

You’ll ideally have experience as an:

- Electrical Commissioning Engineer
- Senior Electrical Commissioning Engineer
- Electrical Test Engineer
- Electrical Commissioning Technician

You’ll also have experience with:

- Data Centre commissioning
- LV and HV electrical systems
- UPS systems
- Generators
- Switchgear
- Transformers
- Power distribution
- Load bank testing
- Protection testing
- Electrical fault finding
- FAT, SAT and IST testing
- Electrical drawings and schematics
- Commissioning documentation and reporting
- Electrical safety procedures and industry standards
