Responsibilities
End-to-end technical ownership of software and application solutions in the Software Engineering area, from design to production, ensuring code quality, scalability and maintainability.
Design, develop and execute business and technical solutions for the implementation of new features or system upgrades/conversions, utilizing the technology stack: Java EE, Spring Framework, Single Page Applications, Microservices, Docker and cloud-based architectures.
Technical guidance and support of junior and mid-level resources on delivery activities, code review and quality assurance.
Analysis and resolution of complex technical issues on systems and platforms, through advanced problem solving and evaluation of alternative solutions.
Direct interface with Business Analysts, Project Managers and stakeholders to gather and validate technical requirements, present proposed solutions and monitor alignment with business objectives.
Contribution to the definition of technical standards, best practices and design patterns in your area of specialization (Software Engineering, DevOps, Cloud).
Contribution to the hiring process through technical evaluations during interviews.
Stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies in the software development ecosystem.
Qualifications
Bachelor or Master Degree (Nice to have technical field: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields).
Advanced technical expertise on technologies: Java EE, Spring Framework (Core, MVC, Security, Data, Boot), Single Page Application frameworks, Microservices, Docker, cloud-based architectures, design patterns and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, such as cloud AI services,



LLM platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI), basic ML frameworks and integration of AI APIs into enterprise applications.
Advanced software development competencies: code quality, architecture design, understanding of DevOps practices and agile/waterfall methodologies.
Understanding of cloud-based applications architecture and deployment practices.
Ability to translate business needs into structured technical requirements, including those related to AI-driven features (classification, automation, RAG, etc.).
Strong analytical skills, problem solving, focus on results, decision-making abilities and teamwork orientation.
Location
Naples (NA) with lavoro da remoto possibility.
Compensation
Gross annual base salary starting from €40,000. Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender‑neutral criteria, including responsibility, experience and skills.
