Your contribution to Prysmian’s Success:
We are looking for an R&D; Electrical Research Lab Engineer to join our R&D; Ansaldo Lab.
In This Role, You Will
- Oversee and coordinate laboratory team activities, ensuring efficient workflow, clear task delegation, training sessions, and a collaborative working environment.
- Plan and supervise electrical tests that support the development of new products and improvements in material properties, with a strong focus on industrial application.
- Analyze test results and prepare reports for stakeholders.
- Work with universities and internal or external stakeholders to keep laboratory activities aligned with state-of-the-art practices and business needs.
- Ensure compliance with technical requirements, quality standards, and QHSE regulations.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external clients and third parties, supporting high-quality service and strong communication.
- Promote and enforce safety protocols to protect people, equipment, and laboratory operations.

- Ensure a high scientific and technical level across laboratory activities and high efficiency of assets.
- Increase the lab’s output to meet the significant growth in requested activities.
- Maintain high-quality standards even under intense pressure and extremely tight deadlines.
- Act as a role model for R&D; activities by driving test activities towards industrial application.
