The global HSBC Infrastructure Finance (“HIF”) team comprised of Infrastructure Finance and Export Finance provides a full suite of financing solutions to corporates, financial sponsors, financial institutions and governments in a variety of sectors, including Infrastructure, Transport, Logistics, Renewables and Power & Utilities.
The team provides a central point for clients to access product agnostic advice on financing, capital structure and structured debt capital markets, as well as origination and execution of infrastructure, project and export finance lending mandates. HIF plays a critical role in financing the energy transition for our clients and we have pivoted our business model, aiming to increase our provision of financing to key energy transition sub-sectors, to monetise the transition and deliver incremental revenue for the bank. HIF consists of a global team with key hubs in London, Dubai, Hong Kong,



and Singapore.
The Export Finance team supports the cross-border trade of capital goods and services by HSBC’s clients using government support programs. These programs are administered by Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), to credit enhance the financing provided to the borrowers. Export Finance is a global team with presence in London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore, along with a number of other locations in Europe and Asia. The business is one of the world’s leading arrangers of ECA supported debt with a long-established track-record.
The Export Finance team works across product, region, country and sectors to arrange medium and long-term financing for clients in the public and private sectors purchasing capital goods and services or investing in a particular region.
