ph3Description /h3pWe are Amazon’s GES International Design Construction team, responsible for the design and construction of Amazon’s European building infrastructure, including Fulfilment Centers, Cross Dock and last mile delivery stations, and for refurbishments of existing infrastructure. The team operates as part of the Global Engineering Services team, delivering all aspects of our buildings such as mechanical handling equipment and Amazon Robotics equipment. This role serves as the subject‑matter expert for Mechanical Electrical HVAC, linking the construction, pre‑construction, sustainability and worldwide building design teams. /ph3Key Job Responsibilities /h3ulliReview, challenge and improve mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing and BMS services, as well as the holistic design of template prototypes for new‑build or refurbishment projects. /liliLead technical program and sustainability reviews, driving schedule acceleration, cost savings and standardisation. /liliDefine and implement strategies for data collection and provision for information management on existing and new real‑estate assets. /liliCollect and synchronise feedback from developers, GCs, consultants and internal stakeholders. /liliAssist Preconstruction and Construction Managers during design reviews, GC procurement, value engineering and tender reviews.



/liliDeep‑dive into technical details and lead problem resolution on an as‑needed basis. /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ulliBachelor’s degree /liliExperience in project management, real estate development, architecture/design /liliKnowledge of mechanical or electrical systems design /liliExperience in technical leadership of development, testing and implementation of large‑scale, complex technology projects /liliExperience using business or technical software such as MS Excel, MS Project or CAD software /liliExperience with simulation and 3D modelling software /liliExperience in 3D CAD /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliFluency in one or more of the following languages is considered a plus: French, German, Polish, Arabic, Portuguese, Turkish, Chinese (Mandarin), Afrikaans, Zulu. /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
