We are seeking an experienced Senior System Operations Engineer to join our team in Milano Bicocca. In this senior role, the engineer will lead system provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance to ensure stable, optimized operations. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in Linux systems administration and configuration management and will also provide mentorship to junior team members while contributing to the documentation and development of best practices. Key Responsibilities Monitoring and troubleshooting Linux-based systems to ensure reliability, performance, and availability.



Setup and configuration of physical and virtual machines from scratch, including operating system installation and basic network configuration. Provisioning, management, and maintenance of storage solutions, including backup configuration and data protection activities. Management and automation of system configurations, using automation and delivery tools to ensure consistency across environments. Configuration, support, and automation of CI/CD software, contributing to streamlined deployment and delivery processes. Support for network-related system operations, assisting in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure-level issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 8+ years of experience in a System Operations or related role, with a strong background in high-demand industries such as broadcast, media, or digital video.
