In this role you will drive opto-mechanical integration and AIT activities for the Flyeye Telescope, collaborating with the AIT and Optical teams. You will prepare integration and test procedures, manage mechanical and optical assemblies, and support night-time observations at final sites. The position blends factory and on-site work, contributing to a mission focused on space safety and hazardous-object detection. You join a fast-growing team that covers design through commissioning in premier astronomical locations.
Retribuzione / Benefits
Participate in telescope integration and optical alignment
Prepare AIT documentation including integration/test procedures and setup/as-run procedures
Handle mechanical/optical assemblies, tools, and GSEs
Participate in technical/review meetings and progress updates
Provide support during night test observations
Coordinate with cross-functional teams during on-site commissioning
Responsabilità
Bachelor or higher degree in engineering, aerospace engineering or physics
At least 2 years of professional AIT experience
Strong xlwpduy reporting and communication skills
Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
Problem solving and root-cause analysis competence
Proactive, multitasking, and time-management skills
Willingness to travel for mid/long-term missions
Fluent in spoken and written English
Basic experience with 3D CAD tools
MS Office proficiency
