RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Site V&V; Engineer to join our team in Chieti within the Digital Product & Platform Engineering Department.
Mission
The Verification & Validation Engineer focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products through rigorous testing and verification activities. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to develop test plans, and execute test cases to validate software functionality and performance. The ideal candidate has a good background in software verification and testing methodologies, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Accountabilities
Test Planning and Strategy: Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design specifications.
Testing Execution: Execute functional, regression, performance,



and system integration tests; conduct manual and automated testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
Verification Activities: Verify software requirements and design, conduct static and dynamic analysis to ensure adherence to coding standards and timing requirements.
Validation Activities: Validate software functionality against defined requirements, perform usability testing to ensure user interface consistency and intuitiveness.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test reports, and test summaries; communicate test results to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in the software testing lifecycle; recommend and implement improvements to testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with software developers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and verify bug fixes; communicate testi
