Job Mission:
The Europe Finance Controller is responsible for ensuring accurate financial accounting, robust control, and high quality reporting for the European Retail perimeter.
The role combines hands-on accounting ownership with controlling and performance monitoring, acting as a key financial partner for Retail and Finance leadership.
This position plays a critical role in safeguarding data integrity, ensuring compliance, and supporting decision making across multiple European markets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow) for the assigned European Companies
- Manage general ledger monthly accounting activities including posting of accruals, provisions, stock, intercompany reconciliation
- Prepare the Group Reporting Package and monthly detailed reports requested by HQ
- Collaborate with the internal or external local accounting counterparts and follow all operational day by day activities related to legal entities under his/her responsibility
- Ensure that adequate processes and internal controls are implemented and maintained
- Support the stores for the assigned companies (i.e. administrative queries, support for specific compliance matters, etc)
- Collaborate with the Europe Business Controllers in ad hoc requests and analysis
