Experteer Overview
As Lead Software Engineer, you will drive the development of Field software across Windows, Linux, Android and iOS to support GNSS receivers, optical survey tools, and related devices. You will lead module design, scheduling and cross‑disciplinary collaboration to deliver robust geomatics and CAD functionality. The role combines hands‑on coding with design direction, quality processes, and problem solving at scale. You join a team aligned with Topcon’s focus on integrated surveying and CAD workflows, enabling impactful field‑to‑data experiences.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- Plan and manage delivery schedules with project stakeholders.
- Serve as the single point of contact for a software module’s design, delivery, and issue resolution.
- Evaluate scope changes and manage module design and delivery.
- Perform maintenance, enhancements, and documentation for new and existing systems.
- Own Geomatics and CAD functionality across Android/iOS/Windows/Linux using Qt/Qml/C++ including laser scanner support.




- Provide technical guidance to team members and others as needed.
- Analyze and resolve technical and application problems.

Responsabilità
- 5+ years of overall software development experience.
- 3+ years of professional C++ development experience.
- Experience with computational geometry, spatial algorithms, mass data algorithms, and/or 3D rendering (DirectX, OpenGL).
- Knowledge of QML and/or MFC.
- Experience with software development processes and tools.
- Experience with Geodesy, GNSS and/or Optical Survey, CAD, laser scanner data processing (a plus).
- Android or iOS development experience (a plus).
- Strong object‑oriented programming, data structures, and multithreading knowledge.
- Cross‑platform GUI frameworks familiarity.
- CI/CD and automated testing understanding.
- JIRA for bug tracking and version control.
- Docker knowledge (a plus).
- English communication skills.
