Monitoring & Oversight Analyst (Relocation to Luxembourg)

In this role you will lead real-time surveillance, detection, and containment of fraudulent and illicit activity across Satispay’s ecosystem. You’ll handle high-volume alerts, conduct deep-dives for complex cases, and feed insights back to product and data teams to improve monitoring rules. You’ll optimize workflows, mentor junior analysts, and ensure all judgments are well-documented and compliant. This position offers impact in shaping the firm’s risk controls within a fast-growing fintech environment.

- Manage and resolve high-volume transaction monitoring alerts with clear decision-making
- Act as primary point of contact for complex alerts and conduct deep dives for escalation decisions
- Translate alert insights into actionable feedback to Product and Data teams for rule tuning
- Identify bottlenecks in alert handling and propose workflow improvements
- Coach and onboard junior analysts on transaction analysis and case documentation
- Ensure resolved alerts have defensible rationale aligned with regulatory standards




- Own a strategic monitoring focal area by researching trends and turning them into production-ready rules
- 3+ years in transaction monitoring, real-time fraud operations, or KYT surveillance in fintech or high-volume payments environments
- Subject matter expertise in transaction monitoring, payment flows, velocity patterns, and regulatory frameworks (FATF, EU Directives, PSD3/SCA)
- Strong data literacy with experience using analytics tools (Looker, Splunk, HEX, Redshift) and basic SQL
- Proven track record in identifying gaps in detection models and turning them into monitoring rules
- Experience in leadership, coaching, and uplifting team capabilities
- Excellent analytical communication translating complex data for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, resilience under high alert volumes, and ethical risk judgment
