In this role, you will coach and support customers to maximize value from Expedia Group’s platform. You’ll build relationships with key buyers and account teams, guide opportunities, and translate customer needs into effective product and contract solutions. You contribute to business cases, understand pricing and policy implications, and help customers achieve measurable outcomes. You’ll work with cross-functional partners to ensure ongoing account success and value realization, aligning with Expedia Group’s mission to simplify travel worldwide.

- Build and start cultivating relationships with customers and their account teams, including senior buyers and decision-makers
- Facilitate opportunities through progress meetings and exploratory discussions to grow accounts
- Understand customer challenges via internal and external channels and translate into actionable insights
- Recommend products, services, and insights aligned with customer needs
- Create basic account plans outlining tactics for acquisition and retention
- Develop understanding of how the department contributes to the broader organization
- Stay informed about policies, practices, trends, and competitor activity affecting customers
- Gain awareness of the financial impact of decisions on the organization and customers
- Guide accounts toward insights and balanced recommendations benefiting both sides
- Gather data on potential ideas and solutions to address business needs
- Contribute to business cases for change under senior guidance
- Understand standard contract terms and when to involve legal partners
- Learn the contract negotiation process and arrangements
- Communicate clearly to gain support from stakeholders
- Seek manager support to resolve differences and align stakeholders
- Assist in cost-vantaggi and risk analyses of possible solutions
- Identify key stakeholders involved in account decision-making
- Develop understanding of standard offerings and major areas of expertise
- Build knowledge of products, technologies, and commercial offerings within scope
- Understand competitor products and services
- Appreciate the value and application of offerings for customers and organization
- Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and external customers
- Learn about customer leaders and decision-makers via internal CRM systems
- Develop basic understanding of customer industries and market insights with company tools
- Participate in customer meetings to better understand needs and expectations
- Learn metrics used to assess product performance against customer needs
- Help develop value propositions, case studies, and proof points for the value of offerings
- Understand the total cash compensation range for the Rome role
- Proficiency in English and Italian is a must have
