As Lead Test Project Engineer, you drive validation activities for product development in the Turbomachinery Technology Lab. You coordinate internal and external teams to deliver complete test cycles, from estimation to commissioning and execution. You act as the key technical interface, ensuring test requirements are met and projects close successfully. You work with cross-functional partners across engineering, service, production and metrology to enable robust product verification and continuous improvement. This role offers a hands‑on opportunity to shape testing capabilities and contribute to Baker Hughes’ innovation in energy technology.

- Coordinate internal and external teams across the full test cycle (estimations to commissioning and disassembly)
- Serve as the main technical interface to ensure test requirements are met and drive projects to completion
- Create cost estimates and schedules for validation activities with the project team




- Lead design and construction of test facilities and measuring systems and oversee test execution
- Prioritize HSE throughout project execution
- MSc in Engineering or equivalent industrial experience (5+ years)
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial environment (power generation, turbomachinery, oil and gas, or rotating equipment)
- Experience with verification testing of new products/technologies
- Exposure to electrical, mechanical and thermodynamics measurement principles
- Knowledge of turbomachinery fundamentals and thermodynamics/fluids applied to turbomachinery performance
- Ability to read engineering drawings, P&ID; and wiring diagrams
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams
- Good decision-making, organization and time management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with interpersonal skills
