Experteer Overview

As HSE Manager, you will lead health, safety and environment efforts for project sites across Europe and the Mediterranean. You report to the Managing Director and work with the QHSE structure to embed a sustainable HSE culture. You will design and audit HSE systems, manage risk, and train staff to prevent incidents and ensure regulatory compliance. This role combines site-level leadership with cross-functional collaboration to protect people and the environment while supporting project success.

- Oversee RSPP compliance under Legislative Decree 81/2008 and updates
- Develop, implement and monitor HSE systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
- Auditing the HSE performance and reporting to management
- Identify, assess and mitigate workplace risks; implement protective measures and training
- Organize education and trainings on health, safety, first aid, evacuation and related regulations
- Prepare and maintain HSE records, statistics, and KPI reporting
- Support tender preparation as HSE expert and participate in project teams
- Coordinate internal and external audits; analyze incidents and near-misses for preventive actions
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and manage environmental risks and related financial implications
- Promote continuous HSE improvement and compliance through regular reviews and audits
- Engage with customer representatives,



suppliers and authorities to sustain HSE culture
- Participate in international working groups and periodic security meetings
- Provide proactive HSE guidance to business unit managers and project managers
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mandatory regulations and standards
- Arrange emergency response planning and ensure availability of PPE

Responsabilità

- 10+ years of experience in similar HSE roles within large/medium-sized companies
- RSPP certificate with appropriate ATECO classifications
- Bachelor or Master in Technical Engineering (preferred) with specialization in Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management Systems
- Experience with ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18000 implementations
- Fluent in English and French
- Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills; ability to build relations at all levels
- Experience on construction sites in Italy and abroad, in oil & gas, offshore refineries and energy sectors
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and auditing processes
- Strong communication and training organization abilities
