Our client is a confidential major energy producer, active across power generation from renewable sources (wind, photovoltaic and hydroelectric) and conventional combined-cycle plants, as well as connection to the national distribution and transmission networks. An established in-house engineering organisation covers electrical, automation and control disciplines, supporting projects from concept and design through to procurement, construction and commissioning. The electrical engineering function operates from the client’s offices near Milan and works in close coordination with project management, procurement and site teams.

Project scope
The assignment supports the detailed electrical design of high voltage substations and their associated protection, command and control systems. The scope spans generation plants from renewable sources (wind, photovoltaic, hydroelectric) and conventional combined-cycle facilities, together with their connection to medium and high voltage distribution and transmission networks.



Engineering is delivered to international technical standards across concept, design and order phases, in coordination with other disciplines, procurement and site
.The role is based onsite in Sesto San Giovanni for the duration of the assignment, with up to one day per week of remote work by agreement with the manager and depending on project needs
