Experteer Overview

You join Dematic’s EMEA Case Conveyor Systems team to deliver project-specific conveyor solutions for intralogistics. You work across engineering, purchasing, and CE compliance to design, assess safety, and coordinate installation for complex lines. You’ll create detailed layouts, BOMs, and supplier specs, while ensuring interfaces with steel, buildings, and controls are aligned. This role offers cross-country collaboration and hands‑on impact on safety, ergonomics, and performance. You help shape scalable, reliable systems for diverse customers and sites.

Retribuzione / Benefits

- Create approval layouts based on customer design freeze and sales layout
- Perform safety assessments and define necessary measures
- Develop detailed concepts and integrate into approval layouts
- Review material flow and interfaces with other trades
- Conduct interfaces/clash checks and define service access areas
- Define safety devices, maintenance platforms and ergonomic workstation layouts
- Record measurements at brownfield sites and support customer meetings




- Prepare detailed layouts and specifications for conveyor technology (drives, speeds, guides, supports)
- Plan and document stepovers, maintenance platforms, and safety devices
- Create bills of materials and purchase requisitions in SAP
- Prepare data lists for hardware controls planning and installation drawings
- Handover information to installation team; support supplier FAT and CE risk assessment
- Coordinate with CE Compliance for system safety inspection at customer site
- Provide remote and on‑site installation support

Responsabilità

- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (or higher)
- 3‑5 years of project engineering experience (graduates welcome)
- Experience in mechanical design and intralogistics or similar
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Structured, systematic, and results‑oriented approach
- Problem‑solving and self‑management skills
- AutoCAD, NX, Teamcenter, Navisworks, SAP knowledge
- Willingness to travel
