Politecnico di Torino in Italy seeks a PhD candidate for the LEGEND project to investigate defects effects on residual strength of composites and to validate high-fidelity FE models for LVI. The role includes fabricating specimens, characterising damage, and generating data with collaborations across Europe.
Starting Nov 2026–Jan 2027 with a three-year fixed-term contract. Salary follows MSCA regulations with mobility and family allowances; secondments in Portugal, Spain, and Italy are planned.
