The well-established IT services and consulting organisation is looking to appoint a Presales / Solution Architect to replace an existing resource within its Ancona-based team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly technical environment and play a key role in shaping and delivering infrastructure and cloud solutions across a diverse portfolio of enterprise clients in Northern Italy.

Key Responsibilities
- Engage with customers and prospects to understand technical and business requirements.
- Support the sales team in developing and validating commercial proposals.
- Design high-level infrastructure and cloud solution architectures.
- Translate business needs into scalable and reliable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure solution feasibility.
- Participate in customer meetings and occasional on-site visits.
- Identify appropriate technologies and integration approaches.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of presales processes and solution standards.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a system integrator, VAR, or IT consulting environment (e.g. VAR Group, Lutech, Filippetti, Mead Informatica, Quanture, VEM, AD Consulting, or similar).
- Strong background in IT infrastructure and enterprise systems design.
- Experience in customer-facing or pre-sales roles.
- Ability to design high-level technical architectures.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of enterprise technologies, including HPE infrastructure, Zerto, Veeam, Commvault, Microsoft Active Directory, Hyper‑V, and UNIX/Linux environments.
- Knowledge of networking, storage, and infrastructure protocols, including GRE, VRRP, HSRP, LACP, STP, IP, TCP, UDP, IPSEC, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, Fibre Channel (FC), NDMP, S3 object storage, LDAP, SSH, SFTP, NTP, RAID, iLO, and related hardware management tools.
- Certifications are welcomed but not essential. Valuable certifications include ITIL v4 Foundation, PMI PMP, and PRINCE2.

Salary:
