Fondazione Bruno Kessler invites applications for PhD positions focused on AI at the edge. The research will tackle multimodal data on tiny, resource-constrained devices, addressing computation limits, energy constraints, and bandwidth bottlenecks.

The work spans hardware-aware model scaling, compression, and adaptive on-device learning across distributed IoT nodes to maintain explainability and robustness in deployed models.
