We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Automation Commissioning Team, with strong proficiency in C# development and the ability to contribute to advanced industrial automation projects. The role requires experience in designing and implementing reliable software components, particularly for applications interfacing with automation systems, AGV/AMR fleets, and ASRS technologies. While the core focus is C# application development, basic familiarity with Siemens and Beckhoff PLC environments is considered a plus to support system integration and commissioning when needed.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain C# applications using modern language features (e.g., async/await, LINQ, MVC) to ensure scalable and high‑performance software modules.
Contribute to the definition of software architecture, applying principles such as SOLID, layered architecture, dependency injection, and modular design for automation‑related systems.
Integrate C# applications with automation equipment, AGV/AMR systems, and ASRS solutions through industrial communication protocols, APIs, and middleware.
Collaborate with Controls and Commissioning Engineers to ensure seamless interaction between software layers and shop‑floor automation.
Develop user interfaces and front‑end components using modern frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or similar technologies, ensuring intuitive and reliable interaction with backend automation services.
Support system integration by reviewing or troubleshooting basic PLC logic (Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT) when necessary.
Work within cross‑functional teams to validate system behavior during commissioning phases, ensuring reliable end‑to‑end operation.
(Nice to have) Leverage experience with WMS/WES/WCS software to enhance data flow analysis, task orchestration, and integration between automation and material‑handling systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electronic, Computer, Telecommunication or Automation Engineering.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
Familiarity with AGV/AMR or ASRS systems is considered an advantage.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for approximately 50% of working time. xysqume
