Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, the candidate will be responsible for end-to-end operations planning, ensuring alignment across engineering, production, supply chain, and finance. They will drive project execution from order intake to delivery, ensuring operational performance and on-time delivery (ROTD).

The responsibilities include:

- Managing and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders via planning reviews and decision-making forums.

- Ensuring workload and capacity planning, identifying constraints, and driving mitigation actions.





- Owning planning activities such as inventory, Work-In-Progress, and working capital optimization.

- Contributing to financial performance.

- Supporting material planning activities and providing backup when needed.

This role offers strong exposure to end-to-end operations and the opportunity to directly impact delivery performance, operational efficiency, and business results.

The work model is #LI-hybrid, contributing to the ELSP Smart Power Division - 3101 LVS Low Voltage System in Italy - Dalmine.

The main accountabilities include:

- Leading operations planning and facilitating cross-functional reviews.

- Preparing and managing capacity planning, identifying bottlenecks, and driving solutions.

- Analyzing workload and capacity for optimal resource use.

- Managing Work-In-Progress and inventory levels, seeking optimization opportunities.

- Monitoring adherence to production plans and implementing corrective actions.

- Supporting financial performance through planning decisions and inventory control.

- Coordinating with material planning and acting as backup when required.

Qualifications for the role

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

- Languages: Fluent Italian and English.

- Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI preferred; familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP).

- Experience: Minimum 3 years in operations planning within complex environments, managing end-to-end planning and cross-functional coordination.

- Soft Skills: Analytical, decision-making, communication, stakeholder management, influencing, negotiation, proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Compensation Package

- Applicable CBA: Metalmeccanico

- Minimum annual salary: €48,000

- Variable pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus
