LightScene Studio is looking for a Intermediate Lighting Designer to join our dynamic studio in Milan.

We are looking for a highly motivated and creative intermediate lighting designer to join our in-house design team in the design sector and work on exciting retail, high-end residential, artistic and hospitality projects in Italy and around the world.
The intermediate lighting designer we are looking for should possess not only technical skills but also a highly creative mindset, innovative solutions, refined aesthetic sense and strong teamwork ability, along with effective collaboration and communication skills to interact with designers, clients, and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Interpret the client brief and collaborate with senior lighting designers and architects to create and develop creative lighting concepts that complement and enhance the design and user experience
Produce mainly detailed drawings, lighting calculations and lighting reports
Specify high-quality products and equipment in line with the aesthetics and objectives of the project




Independently explore innovative materials and techniques that enhance future designs
Requirements
A bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Product/Industrial Design/Interior Architecture/Spatial Design or equivalent
At least one years of professional experience
Proven experience in lighting design within high-end projects
Good knowledge of material properties and solutions
Ability to think from small to large scales in space
Good knowledge of Dialux and main 3D softwares (Rhino, Grasshopper Sketch-Up)
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
Interpersonal and presentation skills, capable of meeting high industry standards
Professional level of English
Eligibility to work in Italy without sponsorship
