TASKS / Responsibilities
- Represent the Product Safety department in business initiatives and technical projects as an integral member of multifunctional teams.
- Prepare safety assessments for cosmetic ingredients and finished hair and nail products for pre-market testing and market release.
- Prepare safety assessments for new raw materials, determine need for additional testing and analytic.
- Generate and evaluate toxicity data with emphasis on (Q)SAR analyses, read-across approaches,



and in vitro assays, including study monitoring.
- Identify potential safety concerns with chemical substances, analyze relevant habits & practices data, create market safety profiles, and manage safety-related external relation issues.
- Handle in-market safety questions and issues in collaboration with colleagues in Product Safety, Regulatory Affairs, R&D;, QA, Legal, and Commercial departments.

Qualifications and Experience
- Ph.D. or M.S. in toxicology, biochemistry, chemistry or related disciplines.
- Work experience with safety assessments in chemicals, cosmetics, and/or healthcare sectors.
- Experience with in silico methods and non-animal safety approaches.
- Structured, self-responsible and solution-oriented way of working.
- High customer and service orientation.
- Distinctive "Business Sense", agility and healthy pragmatism ("hands-on mentality").
- Good communication and presentation skills.
