Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead profitable growth in Construction by applying technical underwriting expertise to complex risks. You’ll collaborate with brokers to communicate risk appetite, structure deals, and negotiate terms. You’ll expand the broker network, cross-sell with other lines, and mentor junior underwriters to raise team standards. You’ll operate within a supportive, collaborative culture focused on helping clients manage risk at scale.
Retribuzione / Benefits
- Underwrite new and renewal Construction business, including complex risks
- Build and maintain broker relationships to convey risk appetite and value proposition
- Negotiate pricing, terms, conditions, and deal structure with brokers and clients
- Grow the broker network and identify cross-selling opportunities across markets
- Collaborate with Distribution, territory managers,



and other lines to target desirable accounts
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and training to less-experienced underwriters
- Set high customer-service standards for brokers and clients and role-model best practices

Responsabilità
- Proven underwriting experience with Construction
- Ability to analyze financial statements
- Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Customer- and sales-oriented mindset: motivated, tenacious, proactive, accountable
- Interest in mentoring and training if not previously held
