Mission
RINA is currently recruiting for a Infrastructure Smart Inspection Engineer to join its office in Bologna or Venice within the Operations and Maintenance Engineering Division.
The Infrastructure Smart Inspection Engineer is responsible for incorporating smart inspection technologies and methodologies into infrastructure inspection processes. This role involves utilizing advanced inspection tools and data analytics to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of inspections across various infrastructure components.
Key Accountabilities
Coordination and control of technical activities provided by suppliers together with the visual and NDE tests;
Performing on-site inspections of civil assets such as Bridges, Tunnels and Retaining Walls;
Coordination with companies and road operators on temporary roadworks site planning and accessibility;
Data analysis and reporting;




Non-destructive testing activities supervision related to structures.
Education
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering General
Qualifications
~3–5 years of relevant professional experience;
~ Knowledge of civil asset inspection frameworks and methodologies;
~ Experience with FEM modelling;
~ Availability to travel for site inspections ;
~ Nice to have: Bridge Inspector Certification (or VT Level 2) issued by an accredited certification body;
~ Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel);
~ Good knowledge of AutoCAD;
~ Good command of English, both written and spoken.
