Construction Manager

The Construction Manager is responsible for the co-ordination and management of allocated construction contracts/projects, to ensure the successful planning, execution, completion on time and within budget. In this role you will lead the co-ordination, management and reporting of key project documentation working closely with the Development Team, External Consultants and Contractors. The role also encompasses the management of permitting and licensing processes, coordination of utility connections and building services, and the liaison with local authorities and regulatory bodies to secure all necessary approvals throughout the project lifecycle. The annual base salary for this role starts from €60,000 depending on experience. In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in corporate bonus programs.
Responsibilities
- Works with the internal and external teams to ensure the development and coordination of cost and quality control procedures, prepare construction budget and building scheduling plans in accordance to approved scope of work and program.
- Coordination and monitoring of external consultants and overseeing contractor's work to ensure works are being carried out in accordance with the approved design and quality.
- Monitors budget and project schedule performance to manage and regularly report on progress (e.g. minutes, progress reports, management reports, quality reports and monthly reports).
- Project management and on-going communications within the internal teams and other key business leaders affiliated with the project to provide periodic updates on the progress against schedule and budgets, surfaces and resolves issues that may compromise the project delivery schedule or costs, and respond quickly and with urgency to questions, concerns, and requests for information.
