Duties
- Serve as Europe District’s primary point of contact with the Vicenza Military Installation, responsible for construction project management, control, and execution by coordinating with Installation resources.
- Projects include feasibility studies, protection projects, rehabilitation projects, and various military construction projects (MILCON).
- Integrate partner’s requirements and participation into a complex and comprehensive program management plan. Advise District personnel on project-specific issues important to the customer. Provide briefings on program status to partners and others.
- Coordinate engineering projects of substantial scope and complexity as measured by the diversity, geographical area, management demands, technical intricacies, and public issues.
- Represent the District Commander serving as the point of contact for program and projects assigned with partners; Federal, State, and local government agencies, congressional interests, other external organizations, and higher authorities.
- Ensure the development of all required partners and District agreements, leading the negotiation of such agreements on behalf of the District.
