Headquartered in Plymouth, Michigan, outside of Detroit, LINK maintains testing laboratories, manufacturing, and support facilities around the globe: The Electrical Project Engineer will be part of our engineering team. It will be responsible for the research, design, development, documentation, and support of electrical systems for precision test equipment, data acquisition, and control systems.

Supervise suppliers during the realization of electrical cabinets and verify the quality of the delivered assembly.
Performing checkout of the electrical cabinets at the delivery
Selection, programming and troubleshooting of motor drives/motion control systems.
Support to Sales, Operations, Testing and Validation Departments.
Documentation including manuals and technical files to keep required records.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, and at least 5 years in the field of electrical design.
Proven experience with electrical schematics using CAD tools (Eplan is preferred).
Previous electrical design experience with test equipment or similar is a plus.
Knowledge of instrumentation, transducers, control systems, three-phase power systems, motion control, and motor drive technologies to operate resources as required.
Knowledge PLC, HMI, and programming tools and techniques.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, drawings, and models for the creation of electrical schematics using CAD tools.
Knowledge of electrical safety of machinery norms: Strong capability and understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software engineering fundamentals.
